March 17, 2012
We're in the process of making a detailed recommended vendor list per country for your gaming / enthusiast hardware needs. A post on this subject has been made on Reddit in /r/gamingpc. Your input is welcomed and valued. We won't be doing shop reviews for now, just a comprehensive list of suppliers that our users have deemed reliable. The list can be found under the "shopping" button.

Thanks all for your help!

Core i7 3820 first bulk price listing

February 5, 2012
It can't be ordered yet but the first bulk price for the "low end high end" socket 2011 processor seems to be at $311.54, hopefully it will be closer to the MSRP of $285 upon actual release. For people that want multiple graphics cards at x16/x16 (x16/x8/x8) and PCI Express 3.0 transfer speeds this would be a real nice option. Core i7 With 2MB more cache than the socket 1155 equivalent and slightly higher stock clockspeeds it will be an interesting processor. It can also be partially overclocked. Now all you need to do is pair it up with 2 or 3 HD7970 graphics cards and you'll have one monster of a gaming PC.
