just a comprehensive list of suppliers that our users have deemed reliable. The list can be found under the "shopping" button.
Thanks all for your help!

Preview driver for the HD7970 | February 12, 2012 |
AMD has released a driver for the Radeon HD7900 series that has a couple of fixes included that are not on the install CD that ships with current HD7970 cards.
New owners are encouraged to download and install this driver instead of the version that comes on the CD. It can be downloaded here:

Core i7 3820 first bulk price listing | February 5, 2012 |
It can't be ordered yet but the first bulk price for the "low end high end" socket 2011 processor
seems to be at $311.54, hopefully it will be closer to the MSRP of $285 upon actual release. For people that want multiple graphics
cards at x16/x16 (x16/x8/x8) and PCI Express 3.0 transfer speeds this would be a real nice option. With 2MB more cache than the socket 1155
equivalent and slightly higher stock clockspeeds it will be an interesting processor. It can also be partially overclocked.
Now all you need to do is pair it up with 2 or 3 HD7970 graphics cards and you'll have one monster of a gaming PC.
Six-screen Eyefinity, here I come :-)
